Reinforcements.
England were dealt a major injury blow this week with news that flanker Jack Willis will play no further part at this World Cup.
Willis sustained a neck injury in England’s 71-0 victory over Chile last week and looks set for another spell on the sidelines.
A number of players were touted as replacements this week including his brother Tom, as well as Zach Mercer and Alex Dombrandt. But it’s Bath flanker Sam Underhill who will replace Willis in the squad.
Underhill will link up with the squad in Lille today ahead of Sunday’s quarter-final in Marseille.
England look set to take on Fiji in the quarter-final stages of the World Cup, providing the Pacific islanders get the point they need against Portugal this afternoon to qualify.
