Ineligible.
England international Ben Te’o has found himself a new club after signing a short-term deal with three-time European champions Toulon.
Te’o left Worcester Warriors at the end of last season and was recently left out of England’s 31-man World Cup squad despite being a favourite under Jones since moving to the Premiership.
His move now means he is ineligible for the World Cup should England require a replacement as the RFU prohibit players that play outside the Premiership for playing for their national side.
The 32-year-old centre has signed a contract with the French side until November to provide cover for World Cup absentees.
