Following the recent announcement by EPCR that the postponed European Rugby Champions Cup and Challenge Cup fixtures would be played on the weekend of 8/9/10 January 2016, the exact dates, kick-off times and broadcast schedule for the six matches have now been agreed.
Of the five Champions Cup games which were postponed due to last month’s Paris attacks, Bordeaux-Bègles and ASM Clermont Auvergne will be the first into action when the TOP 14 rivals meet at Stade Chaban-Delmas in Pool 2 on Friday, 8 January 2016.
The Racing 92 v Glasgow Warriors, and Stade Francais Paris v Munster Rugby matches will be played on Saturday, 9 January 2016, as will the postponed Challenge Cup Pool 2 fixture between Pau and Castres Olympique.
Oyonnax will host Ulster Rugby in Pool 1 of the Champions Cup on Sunday, 10 January 2016 with the RC Toulon v Bath Rugby Pool 5 clash at Stade Félix Mayol scheduled for later the same day.
As previously outlined, the revised European schedule means that the Round 13 fixtures in the TOP 14 will be played later in the season, as will the following Round 12 fixtures in the Guinness PRO12: Ulster Rugby v Newport Gwent Dragons, Zebre Rugby v Glasgow Warriors, and Cardiff Blues v Munster Rugby.
The Aviva Premiership Rugby Round 9 match between Bath Rugby and Sale Sharks, which was due to be played on Friday, 8 January 2016, will also take place later in the season on a date to be announced.
