Holy sh*t.
Defending Super Rugby champions the Crusaders made it two wins from two this morning with a hugely impressive 38-22 win over the Hurricanes in Christchurch.
Scott Robertson’s side, who are also coached by Ireland’s Ronan O’Gara, raced into a massive 24-0 lead at half-time thanks to two tries from Richie Mo’unga and one each from Scott Barrett and Jordan Taufua.
They were outscored 22-14 in the second-half but the work was already done, with Barrett’s second and a try from George Bridge sealing the victory.
Oh and 22-year old Fijian winger Manasa Mataele made one of the greatest offloads we’ve ever seen for Mo’unga’s first try. Check it out below at around the 50 second mark. Absolutely ridiculous.
