The British and Irish Lions are yet to meet as a full squad yet as we wait for domestic matches to finish but a large cohort got together for a player admin day recently ahead of training this week.
As we all know, professional rugby players get an absolutely ridiculous amount of gear every season, but Canterbury and the British and Irish Lions seem to take things to a whole different level.
It is a lengthy tour to be fair, but this still hasn’t stopped us from getting jealous after Conor Murray showed us a peek of just how much gear Lion players get in Episode 1 of the new series ‘The Ultimate Test.”
The new show takes you behind the scenes to provide an exciting and authentic look at life as a Lions player and is gonna become a must-watch we reckon.
“The best part,” Murray said after plonking down a gear bag full of new stash next to another.
“This one was probably, in my mind, the hardest tour to make, so yeah – it’s a treat now to go through this again which is pretty special. You get an awful lot of kit!
“That will keep my Dad happy because he likes to get his hands on the free stash when it comes through!”
