Four-time European champions Toulouse kept their hopes alive of a record-breaking fifth title yesterday with a 40-33 win over Munster at Thomond Park to progress to the last eight.
The home side looked to be on course for another famous victory at half-time but a late Toulouse surge proved to be enough with Munster’s European now season over.
