Back in action.
France captain Antoine Dupont is on course to make a remarkable recovery and return in time for the quarter-finals of the Rugby World Cup.
The scrumhalf was forced to undergo surgery on a fractured cheekbone following a nasty collision with Namibia’s Johann Deysel a fortnight ago.
Dupont returned to training over the weekend but trained away from the rest of the French team as he awaits further medical tests before he is fully cleared.

The hosts take on Italy next in their final pool match as they look to top Pool A following wins against New Zealand, Uruguay, and Namibia.
A potential quarter-final with holders South Africa awaits Les Blues should results go as expected.
