Done deal.
Malaki Fekitoa has confirmed that he will indeed join Toulon at the end of the current Super Rugby season. The centre is now set to link up with fellow All Black Ma’a Nonu in what will be one of the most devastating midfield partnerships in European rugby.
Fekitoa played against the Lions twice this summer for both the Highlanders and the All Blacks, and has long been linked with a move to Europe. He took to social media today to confirm the move.
“I wanted to let you all know that after a lot of thought I have decided to join Toulon (RCT) at the end of the year.”
The 25 year-old currently has 24 caps for New Zealand, but will put his international career on hold at least with the move.
