Saracens fullback Alex Goode attained cult hero status this week thanks to his simply incredible three day, full kit bender following Saracens’ Champions Cup win over Leinster last Saturday.
Goode hilarious antics went viral across the internet and now he’s spoken about his celebrations in an excellent interview with Jim Hamilton and Andy Goode on The Rugby Pod.
“I’m fragile mate, very fragile. I’m not gonna lie.” Goode said.
“I’m 31-years-old. I shouldn’t be doing this.”
Goode was also asked about the famous bumbag that accompanied his outfit, which he says was a last minute purchase.
“I’ve still got the bumbag somewhere.” he added
“Lovely bit of kit I picked up from Topman. It wasn’t part of the outfit until last minute when Liam Williams wen’t to get a shit shirt. I saw the bumbag and though this might be quite useful because I’ve got no pockets.”
“It held my phone, my wallet, my keys – a few paracetamol, some caffeine… and ya, off I went.”
