Leinster have a chance to exact revenge on Toulouse this weekend after their Round 2 defeat to the French side in a crucial Champions Cup fixture this weekend.
With the French side currently top of Pool 1, Leinster must win at the RDS if they are to finish top of their pool and secure a home quarter final spot. But it looks like the defending champions will have to do it without their star man.
According to Des Berry in the Irish Independent, Sexton will not be risked this weekend as he continues to recover from a calf problem picked up in the loss to Munster last month. The 2018 World Player of the Year has a big few months ahead of him and risking him simply isn’t a smart move.
Ross Byrne now looks set to start at ten on Saturday.
