England almost pulled off a huge upset this evening, losing to world champions the All Blacks by just a singular point at Twickenham.
Eddie Jones’ side raced into an early lead through a Chris Ashton try after just two minutes, before Owen Farrell made it 8-0 with a sumptuous drop goal not long after.
England then took a 15-0 lead thanks to a Dylan Hartley try and Farrell conversion. But the All Blacks fought back just before half-time through a McKenzie try and added a drop goal of their own in the second-half.
Barrett then scored a penalty in the second-half to make it 16-15, with a late Sam Underhill try controversially disallowed as a result of a borderline offside call against Courtney Lawes.
England in the end were left heartbroken and Simon Zebo simply couldn’t resist…
