Not good.
Ulster will definitely be without the services of Ireland international lock Iain Henderson for this weekend’s Champions Cup play-off clash with Ospreys at Kingspan.
Henderson picked up a knee injury in the loss to Munster on the final day of the regular season, with head coach Jono Gibbes confirming he will definitely miss Sunday’s game. He is however, making good progress – and is confident he will be fit for Ireland’s summer tour to Australia.
In a further blow – captain Rory Best is also a major doubt for this weekend and faces missing the crucial Champions Cup qualification clash after he injured his hamstring in training.
The hooker injured a hamstring in training on Tuesday and has been sent for further scans to assess the damage. Whoever wins this weekend’s game will earn the final spot in next season’s Champions Cup.
