The poacher.
36. 36 times. 36 bloody times Tadhg Beirne has turned the ball over this season. And that’s just in the PRO14.
The Scarlets lock has been nothing short of incredible this season, with Munster fans no doubt licking their lips at the thought of him coming to Limerick to play his rugby next season.
His rise over the last couple of seasons has been remarkable. And it’s fitting that a moment of brilliance from him last night to secure a hugely important draw for his side, came against his former side, who never gave him a real chance.
With the clock in red, Beirne somehow managed to get his hands on the ball with Scarlets trailing by 3 in their PRO14 clash with Leinster. The resulting penalty was converted, and once again Beirne was the hero.
Check it out below. Incredible.
