The HIA fails us again.
Clermont could find themselves in serious trouble after France international was allowed back onto the pitch against Northampton today, just minutes after being seemingly knocked unconscious.
Parra got smashed by a knee after a poor attempt at a tackle, hitting the ground like a sack of spuds. He laid motionless for a few moments, with referee Ben Whitehouse heard saying he was unconscious.
The halfback apparently passed his HIA (Head Injury Assessment) and was allowed return to play the rest of the game as Clermont secured a 24-7 win over the Saints.
Have a watch below.
