Is there anything this man doesn’t win?
CJ Stander’s list of personal accolades is pretty substantial. The Ireland and Munster back-row has won over 20 man of the match awards, been crowned Munster Rugby Player of the Year on tow occasions and was named both IRUPA and Rugby Writers’ Player of the Year last season.
Stander just missed out on being named Six Nations Player of the Tournament to Stuart Hogg but is currently on a 5-man shortlist to be named European Player of the Year. It’s safe to say, his record ain’t all that bad.
That being said, it should be no surprise that Stander scooped another award today. The Lions back-row took part in a cake making competition with some of his Munster teammates in support of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland, and of course was crowned champion! Another award for the trophy cabinet! 😂
