Never give up.
Munster and Ireland winger Keith Earls continued his rich run of form yesterday in the Six Nations with another superb performance.
The Limerick man has been in the form of his life of late and played a huge role in Ireland’s 56-19 demolition of Italy at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Earls played the full 80 minutes yesterday and arguably should have been named man of the match.
Along with his try, Earls made 14 runs with 75 metres made and 3 clean breaks. He also made 3 offloads and was a general nuisance all day for the Italians. But perhaps his most memorable moment came in the final seconds, with a remarkable piece of defence.
Italian winger Mattia Bellini took advantage of a poor pass by Ireland with an excellent intercept in the final minute of play. He looked certain to score and grab a try-bonus in the process for the Azzuri. But Keith Earls was never going to give up and made an incredible run back to prevent the try.
Have a watch below. Top class from Earls.
