Back in action.
Tadhg Furlong says it’s “massive” for Ireland having flanker Sean O’Brien back in camp after a lengthy period out with injury.
O’Brien has been named in the starting line-up for this weekend’s clash with Argentina at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin – his first game for Ireland in over a year.
Furlong says O’Brien’s experience and “constant voice” has added a lot to Ireland’s preparations. The tighthead is delighted to finally see him back playing and driving the lads on with his “high-pitched voice!”
“I think Seanie adds a massive amount to the group.” Furlong said.
“I suppose not only from his experience, but his leadership too. Adding a constant voice.”
“I know he’s been through a tough time with injury, but it’s great to see him back out there – vocal as ever in his high-pitched voice!”
“He’s training well, he’s been flying around the place. He adds a massive amount of energy to the group.”
Ireland take on Argentina this Saturday with a kick-off time of 6.30pm.
