WATCH: Shocking Decision In Gloucester Game Has Commentators Baffled

“Nope I’m not having it.”

Gloucester and Top 14 champions Castres are currently going at it in the Champions Cup with the two sides currently tied 6-6 with just over 30 minutes on the clock.

But things could have been a lot different had Gloucester not had what appeared to be a perfectly good try chalked off by referee Marius Mitrea.

14 minutes in winger Tom Marshall finished in the corner thanks to some great work from Callum Braley. But before a conversion could be taken the referee had a word with the TMO to check a potential infringement in the build-up.

Prop Fraser Balmain was adjudged to have cleared out a Castres player who was ‘not part of the breakdown’ despite the fact that he clearly is and the try was disallowed.

The reaction from Austin Healey and David Flatman says it all. Awful decision.
