All to play for.
Ulster travel to Coventry this afternoon to take on Dai Young’s Wasps at the Ricoh Arena, knowing a win over last year’s Premiership finalists, will guarantee them a spot in the knockout stages of the Champions Cup.
The northern province currently sit on 17 points, one point ahead of La Rochelle in Pool 1 after their a huge win over the French fliers at Kingspan last weekend.
The good news for Ulster fans is not only can they secure a quarter final spot, they can secure a home one if they manage to secure a try-bonus win over Wasps today.
Do that and it’s guaranteed. Otherwise they have to hope La Rochelle don’t get the bonus-point against Harlequins and beat Wasps by seven points or more to overtake the Scarlets.
If Ulster do this and Munster manage a try-bonus win over Castres, with a winning margin over five points or more, then three of the four home quarter final spots will be held by Irish provinces.
