Down and out.
The final day of this year’s Champions Cups pool games is upon us, with four teams already qualified thanks to yesterday’s results. Leinster and Clermont have home quarters finals guaranteed, while Scarlets and Toulon have also secured spots in the knockout stages.
Just four games remain, with Munster hosting Castres, Ulster travelling to take on Wasps, Racing taking on Leicester at Welford Road, and La Rochelle welcoming Harlequins to France.
As things stand, Saracens are the only English that can finish in the top eight, but should results go against them today, the current holders will be dumped out at the pool stages, leaving not one single English Premiership side left.
Should Munster, Ulster, Racing and La Rochelle win, Sarries and the English are out. What a day we’ve got in store.
