The University of Liverpool women’s rugby squad have stripped off for a naked calendar to raise funds for a breast cancer awareness charity.
Their annual shoot is available to pre-order now.
Last year the team raised £2,000 for Joining Jack – a Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy charity – however, this year the shots are being sold in aid of Coppafeel – an initiative which encourages and teaches women on how to check their breasts.
Team captain and second year English Eve Watton, 19, said funds raised will also be used to help support the squad.
The calendar really helped the team last year with away matches and equipment as women’s rugby league is really under funded. We couldn’t survive without it. We chose Coppafeel because we wanted to help young women stay healthy. Every girl identifies with the charity. It teaches women to take their health into their own hands.
