This is absolutely brilliant.
Jared Payne was a shock inclusion in Warren Gatland’s Lions 41-man British & Irish Lions squad this afternoon.
The Ulster and Ireland back has only recently returned to full fitness after recovering from a really bad kidney injury.
Payne however starred in the win over England, and can play pretty much anywhere across the backline. He’s also extremely familiar with New Zealand rugby having spent much of his career playing Super Rugby in his native country.
