Irish trick.
Ireland and the All Blacks will take each other on next month in one of the most anticipated Test matches in recent memory.
Joe Schmidt’s men currently sit second in the World Rugby Rankings and could overtake first placed New Zealand with a win next month providing results got their way.
But Ireland will likely be without one of their star men in scrumhalf Conor Murray, who wasn’t named in Schmidt’s squad this week as he continues to recover from a neck problem.
All Blacks boss Steve Hansen was asked about Murray’s absence in a press conference yesterday, and like Ronan O’Gara, Hansen said he thinks there’s a chance Murray will play.
In one of the worst attempts an an Irish accent, Hansen said it could be an “Irish trick”, before quickly realising how terrible he sounded and stopping. We hear Joe Schmidt is pretty good at a Kiwi accent though.
