Munster got back to winning ways in the PRO14 last night – demolishing Ulster 64-7 in front of the Thomond Park faithful.
Tries from Dan Goggin (2), Tommy O’Donnell (2) Peter O’Mahony, Joey Carbery, Sam Arnold, Keith Earls and Alex Wootton ensured an absolute rout of Munster’s provincial rivals.
Joey Carbery was once again electric on the night, bagging an incredible try in the second-half – his first in the famous Limerick rugby ground. A number of other players also impressed – including new signing Alby Mathewson who made his debut on the night.
The All Black scrumhalf controlled the game well, and won himself a lot of fans with this clever bit of play. With the ball in touch the former Toulon man acted quick, throwing a wicked 30-yard ‘quarterback’ pass, catching Ulster off guard. Brilliant stuff.

Johann van Graan on Alby Mathewson:
“I thought he was excellent. I think he kinda surprised the whole team with his quick throw-in. But he just brings something else.”
