Vintage Zebo.
Munster edged past a resilient Edinburgh side with a 20-16 win in Thomond Park yesterday evening in their PRO14 semi-final qualifier.
Tries from Rhys Marshall and man of the match Keith Earls proved to be enough, with Munster now set to face inter-provincial rivals Leinster at the RDS in two weeks time, with a place in the final on the line.
The game was also Simon Zebo’s final game at Thomond Park as a Munster player, with the Ireland winger set to join French giants Racing 92 over the summer.
But fittingly he bowed out with a piece of pure magic that’s become synonymous with his style of play over the years, creating a try out of absolutely nothing for Keith Earls. This guy will be sorely missed next year.
What a try! @SimonZebo shows why Thomond Park will miss him with a beautiful chip and pin-point pass out to the electric @KEITHEARLS87
