Ouch.
It’s been an absolutely crazy night in Limerick so far with Munster and Leinster taking each other on in a hugely physical encounter at Thomond Park.
A number of scuffles have kicked off with both sides giving away a multitude of penalties, with Cian Healy seeing a yellow early on for a high tackle on Conor Murray, and James Lowe seeing red for an aerial challenge on Andrew Conway.
But it could have been a even worse only for referee Frank Murphy decided to give Tadhg Furlong the benefit of the doubt. He judged the Ireland tighthead couldn’t see the South African when making a vicious no-arm clearout that resulted in the openside being stretchered off.
