Sean O’Brien was in good spirits today at this afternoon’s opening Six Nations press briefing.
The Tullow Tank talked about many things including his frustration at missing the quarter final against Argentina, to the positive impact that CJ Stander is already beginning to have around the Irish training camp.
When asked about Paul O’Connell’s retirement however, his responsive was brilliant.
“It’s kinda good. He doesn’t stare at people and intimidate as much now.
“It’s obviously different not having Paulie around with the type of player he is, but it’s up to other lads to fill that void and stand up and be counted.”
