At least the second-half has been better?
Ronan O’Gara has no doubt been the highlight of the Six Nations so far outside of the rugby itself. The former Ireland & Munster playmaker has been in studio for RTE doing some punditry work and so far has been a massive coup for the broadcaster.
O’Gara has become famous for his no nonsense honesty and has lived up to that moniker in the opening weekend. He was brutally honest when reflecting on Ireland’s dismal performance against Scotland and has done it once again today with Italy and Wales.
The second-half to be fair has been better, but what we were subjected to in the first is a far cry from the riveting action we saw yesterday.
O’Gara agrees: “Whoever decided to go for their Sunday walk over the last hour made the right decision”
