What a performance by the Munster captain.
Peter O’Mahony was a late addition to the Irish starting line-up today and what an addition he was. The back-row was nothing short of incredible in almost every facet of the game.
The Munster man showed Joe Schmidt what he has been missing in his line-out at this year’s Six Nations, winning two of his own and stealing one of England’s.
In fact it was one of O’Mahony’s successful takes that led to Iain Henderson’s try in the first-half.
O’Mahony was interviewed after the game, having been named man of the match, and could barely catch his breathe such was the shift he put in. Absolute warrior.
