Paul O’Connell just won a question of sport.
The former Ireland, Munster and Lions lock was a guest on the the show this week and was joined by teammates AP McCoy and Phil Tufnell. His team were up against Leon Osman, fellow former rugby star Matt Dawson and Elinor Baker and no one could believe their ears when O’Connell answered a seemingly impossible question.
After earning just two letters, g and i- they were told the answer could be anything to do with sport. It could be a venue, a team, whatever.
O’Connell’s teammates looked like they were gonna go ahead and move on until O’Connell came out of nowhere and guessed the almost impossible answer.
