Heated.
Reports started coming in just before the Scotland and England game yesterday, suggesting the players had been involved in a bit of a scuffle before a ball had even been kicked.
The BBC reported that things kicked off as the players headed for the dressing rooms after completing their respective warm-ups. Owen Farrell was in the middle of it all, and things apparently got pretty heated.
Footage has since come out of the incident, which shows Farrell jogging through the tunnel before pushing one of the Scotland players. Things understandably then kicked off.
Farrell’s antics however, seemed to spur Scotland on, as they secured a famous 25-13 win, their first over England for a decade. Three first half tries from Huw Jones (2) and Sean Maitland proved to be enough for Gregor Townsend’s men.
We’re not sure who won the pre-match battle, but Scotland most certainly won the war on the field.
