Rugby’s gone soft lads.
Damien De Allende saw red in the final minutes today’s Rugby Championship clash between the Springboks and the All Blacks and no one can quite believe it.
The South African centre followed through on playmaker Liam Sopoaga after a drop-goal attempt, with referee Jerome Garces deciding the challenge warranted a controversial red card.
No way was this a red card. pic.twitter.com/fOtAH0jOad

Credit to the Springboks, they came back moments later and grabbed a converted try to bring them to within a point of Steve Hansen’s men. Unfortunately they couldn’t finish the job, but an incredible effort nonetheless, especially after their humiliation in New Zealand.
A pity such a great Test match had to end with a silly red card though.
Poor way for a great test to end.. not a red card for me..

If that's a red card then rugby is officially fucked. Fuck off.
