“If you’re going to cheat, then cheat fair!”
The All Blacks got off to a winning start on their northern tour this afternoon with a 31-22 win over the Barbarians in an absolute thriller at Twickenham.
It was the Baa Baas though, that went in leading 17-10 at half-time, with some typical flashes of free-flowing attack, coupled with some gritty defence.
Steve Hansen’s men turn on the afterburners however, in the second-half in front of the 62,500 crowd, bagging three-tries after the break to take control.
Nigel Owens was the man in charge at Twickenham, and in typical fashion, stole the show with another classic one-liner. The Welshman had a few clever words for the Baa Baas as they tried to get the edge over the All Blacks in the scrum. Have a watch below.
