Munster flew out to South Africa earlier this week for a mini-tour that will see them take on the Cheetahs in Round 8 of the Guinness PRO14 on Sunday afternoon.
Head coach Johann van Graan named a 27-man squad for the trip with academy players Gavin Coombes, Liam Coombes, Shane Daly and Sean O’Connor among those included.
Tyler Bleyendaal is also set to make his long-awaited return to action this weekend, and will captain the side. But away from the rugby, the Munster set-up having been having a bit of fun pranking their forwards coach Jerry Flannery.
While having lunch, a box was carefully planted near the table, with team manager Niall O’Donovan telling everyone that some “biltong” has been left there for them to work away on. But Flannery find out the hard way what was really inside…
