Catch me if you can.
Leicester and Harlequins played out an absolute thriller yesterday afternoon at the Twickenham stoop. Quins were fresh off an excellent win over Wasps last week, but didn’t have enough to stop Matt O’Connor’s men.
Quins surged 21-11 ahead after tries from Danny Care and Mat Luamanu, but Tigers roared back to 25-21 up with scores from Jonny May and Greg Bateman. Alofa Alofa put the hosts back in front with 17 minutes to go before George Ford’s boot sealed a tough 28-31 away win.
Bateman’s try was the pick of the bunch, with the front-row racing past England fullback Mike Brown, leaving him for dust. Serious pace for a prop.
"Not always about the Willo the Wisps, sometimes it's about the boulders!"
What a game we have on our hands at Twickenham!
