Mic’d up.
Munster made it back-to-back wins over their provincial rivals last night with a 31-24 bonus-point win over Connacht at the Sportsground in Galway.
The western province took the lead through a freak Tom Farrell try, but Munster dominated proceedings from the kick-off and were soon rewarded with some scores of their own.
Two tries from Limerick centre Dan Goggin, along with one each from Peter O’Mahony and Joey Carbery proved to be enough in the end as the southern province came away with maximum points to move them top of Conference A in the PRO14.
But TG4 had a lot of people talking before a ball was even kicked with their innovative new feature. Munster forwards coach Jerry Flannery was mic’d up for the warm-up, giving us a unique and insightful view into what goes into getting a professional team ready for a big game.
Have a watch below. Really interesting stuff.
