Sonny Bill Williams may have grabbed the headlines for his match-winning offload yesterday but this piece of skill from Scotland’s Joe Nayacavou might have outdone the master.
Fiji-born Joe Nayacavo pulled off one of the greatest no-look offloads today to set up an unbelievable match-winning score for Scotland against Japan to send to game into extra time.
Scotland trailed Japan 26-19 in the dying seconds of their Bowl semi-final only for Nayacavou to somehow work the ball inside to Nick McLennan who went onto to score and send the game into extra-time. It was there where Nayacavou went on to score the winning try.
