How the bloody hell does a player pass a Head Injury Assessment after this? Toulouse winger Alexis Palisson was involved in an incident today in Toulouse’s game with La Rochelle that seriously needs to be investigated.
Just 11 minutes into the Top 14 affair, the Toulouse winger lined himself up to tackle Fijian monster Levani Botia and was absolutely bent backwards onto the ground, in one of the worst bump offs we’ve ever seen.

Clearly knocked back by the devastating impact, Palisson tried to rejoin his defensive line- except he didn’t exactly have control of his legs.
As you can see in the video below, Palisson is clearly done and that should have been the end of it.

Incredibly however, he returned to the fold just seven minutes later. How in the name of god he passed a HIA begs belief.
