This looks nasty.
Scotland fullback Stuart Hogg was forced off early for a Head Injury Assessment in their loss to England on Saturday, but many people have been asking what exactly happened to the Glasgow star with no replays shown.
Hogg didn’t pass the HIA and was forced to miss the rest of the game. He is also a doubt for Scotland’s final game against Italy this weekend and will be monitored all week. The injury we believe is a result of a double blow from Maro Itoje and James Haskell in the 7th minute. Itoje comes in with a swinging arm, while Haskell goes low initially but changes position to hit high.

Hogg was eventually forced in the 17th minute, and we’re pretty sure this incident was the reason for it. A penalty was awarded for the challenge, but perhaps a card should have been shown for Itoje.
Haskell’s is more complicated as Itoje brings him down, leaving it difficult for the Wasps man to readjust. What do you think?
English newspaper The Daily Telegraph say Itoje ‘was lucky to get away with a high tackle on Stuart Hogg in the first half without a card.’
