Henry Trinder take a bow.
Gloucester held on to claim hard fought 24-19 victory over Worcester Warriors in an entertaining clash at Kingsholm last night.
With just six minutes gone Worcester found themselves a try and a man down, with captain Donncha O’Callaghan sent to the bin. A second try soon followed, as the Cherry and Whites raced into a 17-0 lead.

The moment of the game however, came in the second half thanks to a moment of sheer brilliance from replacement Henry Trinder. The English centre made a telling run before some slick interplay between him and skipper Willie Heinz resulted in Twelvetrees bagging Gloucester’s third try.
Worcester fought back and almost snatched it in the end, but Gloucester held on, with Trinder’s moment of magic proving to be a worthy match-winner.
