Unpunished.
Glasgow’s dominant first-half display against Munster last night proved to be enough as they made it back-to-back wins over Irish provinces with a 25-10 victory at Scotstoun.
The Scottish side came out all guns blazing in the first-half of their PRO14 clash, scoring 22 of their 25 points to leave Munster absolutely stunned going into the break.
But things could have panned out differently had this dangerous clear out by a Glasgow player been properly picked up by the Television Match Official (TMO).
Referee Ben Whitehouse called for a look at a dangerous clear out but the TMO somehow failed to spot it upon review. The Glasgow player can be seen clearly coming in with a swinging arm that should have resulted in a yellow card and penalty for Munster. Instead Glasgow scored a try moments later.
Have a look below. Glasgow can count themselves very lucky to have gotten away with this one. Shocking stuff.
This is the illegal clear out that Ben Whitehouse wanted reviewed but the TMO couldn’t find. Glasgow very lucky to get away with this. #GLAvMUN pic.twitter.com/bTCFMXhGv0
