This was some game.
The Barbarians heaped further misery on Eddie Jones’ England yesterday after a dismal Six Nations campaign, by hitting them with a record defeat at Twickenham on their first game back since their fifth place finish.
Jones’ men found themselves 21-0 down within the first 12 minutes, with Chris Ashton bagging a hat-trick within 25. Pat Lam’s side bagged nine tries in an absolute rout, thanks to some Fijian flair from the likes of Semi Radradra and Josua Tuisova. And some magic by Justin Tipuric.
It’s a fourth successive loss for Edie Jones’ England side, who last won on 10 February against Wales in the Six Nations.
Anyway – sit back, relax and enjoy some champagne rugby.
