There’s a new documentary coming out about Italy’s incredible victory over the Springboks back in November and it looks epic. New boss Conor O’Shea features heavily in the clip, as the man behind the famous win.
South Africa are a shadow of their former selves, and headed into the November series as wounded animals after a shocking season, but for a team with Italy’s resources to defeat them, is still pretty spectacular.
The scenes following the final whistle were a joy to behold and it will forever go down as one of the biggest scalps in rugby history. Only at the helm a few weeks, Irishman Conor O’SHea became an overnight hero in Italy.
World Rugby say they’re going to be releasing the footage on their Facebook page throughout the week, and you can catch the first one below.
