It’s not quite a group of death this time round, but it’ll be no walk in the park.
The Rugby World Cup 2019 pool draw took place this morning in Japan and it made for some interesting groups. Ireland will be quietly confident having drawn Scotland and Japan, while holders New Zealand have been drawn with rival South Africa in Pool B.
Wales will meet Australia once again in the pool stages with Georgia set to join them in what could end up being a very interesting group. The big talk however has surrounded England’s group.
Eddie Jones’ side have been give a tough draw with France and Argentina both in their group. They’ve also ended up with America 1 and Oceania 2 as the other opponents in their group meaning they could end up with the likes of USA and Samoa too.
A tough group, but Eddie Jones seems confident they can get through.
