“I can’t believe it”
CJ Stander was without doubt the happiest man in Twickenham today after Ireland’s win, and boy did he show it.
The Ireland number eight had a cracking game and scored Ireland’s all important second-try thanks to a magical backline move from Ireland that included some wizardry from Tadhg Furlong.
After the game, Stander just couldn’t keep the smile of his face. After two previous attempts, he has finally won a Six Nations championship. And not just any championship. A Grand Slam championship.
“It’s unbelievable. We worked hard this year, set a goal for ourselves and we got it in the end. It was a great game,” Stander said.
Enjoy it CJ , You’ve earned it.
