It’s pretty safe to say Ronan O’Gara is still a Munster man.
The former playmaker is plying his trade with Racing 92 in France at the moment as their defence coach, but we all know it’s only a matter of time before the legendary Irish outhalf returns home to his native province.
His side recently came up against Munster, and with everything that has happened in recent months, delivers a wonderfully poignant interview, that will bring a tear to your eye, as he praises his former teammates and laments the loss of his friend Anthony Foley.
Well done @Munsterrugby and it’s supporters. 16th time the Club has qualified for the knockout stages.Incredible consistency.#weareallproud

BT’s Rugby Tonight asked Brian O’Driscoll about the tweet last night, with the former Ireland captain responding with a cheeky smile, suggesting O’Gara is a man that you can clearly see will eventually come home.
D’you think he is trying to keep his hand in with him!? It’s the old ‘Yeah, I’m over in France, and Racing are my team…but they [Munster] are really my team!
Yeah, it’s inevitable that at some stage ROG will come back. I think he has been smart to go over and learn his trade away from Munster. Obviously they are going great guns and he is a fond follower of them. They are his second team, allegedly, although it’s not great if they are in your group!
