Ireland take on New Zealand today at the Aviva in a mouth-watering return fixture following Ireland’s historic victory in Chicago. Joe Schmidt’s men grabbed five tries that day in an emphatic, 40-29 win, shocking the rugby world.
The All Blacks are now in Dublin, just two weeks later, wounded and out for revenge. Sean O’Brien returns for Ireland while world-class lock pairing Sam Whitelock and Brodie Retallick return for the world champions.
The question for many is can Ireland beat the All Blacks again? Carol Brennan and her five-year-old son Jack were in Dublin’s city centre on Friday when they came across the New Zealand team. The good news is Jack certainly thinks Ireland can.
