Happy.
The Wallabies have poked fun at Steve Hanse following the All Blacks’ 16-9 loss to Ireland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin last weekend, declaring they are “super happy for Ireland” following the result.
Hansen earlier in the week took aim at Australia, stating they “not quite right” following a series of disappointing performances. Wallabies defence coach Nathan Grey however, was not impressed.
“We’ve beaten them [the All Blacks] a couple of times in the last couple of years so yeah, it’s great for Ireland to get their first win at home against them,” Grey told the Daily Telegraph
“[I’m] super happy for Ireland to get that win.”
In terms of Australia, Grey believes they are still a good side ahead of Saturday’a clash with England at Twickenham.
“I still believe Australia are a really good rugby side,” he said.
“There is definitely something missing because they are not quite right and are not performing to the level they can.”
“But the more we play teams like South Africa, Ireland and England, France which we have done this year it is good for us.”
