Wales will play Georgia for the very first time later this year after their November series schedule was revealed.
The fixtures, exclusively revealed by WalesOnline, see Wales take on Georgia along with the traditional southern hemisphere mega-powers in New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.
Georgia have dominated the Rugby Europe Championship, the Six Nations B competition in recent years, winning it for six successive seasons, with many calling for them to be included in the Six Nations.
They are now up to 12th in the World Rankings, two places above Conor O’Shea’s Italy.
This latest news is no doubt a massive step forward for the nation, and huge for rugby as a whole given the time of the announcement with Georgia set to step up their efforts for inclusion in the Six Nations. They took on Scotland last year and Ireland a few years back, so to see them start to become regulars on the Test scene is brilliant for the them and the growth of rugby itself.
