Joe Schmidt & Paul O’Connell held a press conference yesterday following their win over Italy in the Rugby World Cup.
One World Cup press officer was incredibly thankful for Paul O’Connell’s comic timing when his phone went off in the middle of the conference.
If it wasn’t for O’Connell’s ‘that’s a fine’, we genuinely fear that the press officer in question might have received a Roy Keane response from Ireland coach Joe Schmidt who looked far from impressed.
The Ireland boss eventually managed a smile thanks to Paul’s brilliant comment.
